Do not use:

  • * If you are allergic to dextromethorphan, propylene glycol or any other ingredients.

  • * if you have liver disease or if you are at risk of respiratory failure.

  • * If you are taking selective serotonin reuptake Inhibitors.

  • Not to be used in patients taking medications for depression, psychiatric or emotional conditions, Parkinson's di­sease, monoamine Inhibitors or within 14 days of stopping treatment

Ask a doctor before use if suffering from a chronic or persistent cough, if you have asthma, suffering from acute asthma attack or where the cough is accompanied by excessive secretion. Do not take with any other cough or cold medicine.

The use of dedromethorphan with alcohol or other CMS depressants may Increase the effects on the CNS and cause toxicity in relatively small doses.

Caution is particularly recommended for adolescents and young adults as well as Inpatients with a history of drug abuse or psychoactive substances.

Contains E420 (Sorbitol) – if you have been told by your doctor that you have an intolerance to some sugars, contact your doctor before using this medicinal product Contains 3.6 g of glucose per 10 ml dose. This should be taken into account in patients with diabetes mellitus. Contains El 24 (Ponceau R Red) – may cause allergic reactions.

I About This Product


Tesco Dry Cough Linctus is taken to treat dry unproductive, irritating coughs.

Liquid for oral use. Adults and children over 12 years: Take two 5ml spoonfuls (10 ml) up to four times daily. Children from 6–12 years: Take one 5ml spoonful up to four times daily. Not to be used for more than 5 days without the advice of a doctor. Medical attention should be sought if the childs condition deteriorates during treatment.

Not recommended for use in children under 6 years.

Do not take more medicine than the label tells you to.

Read the carton before taking this product.
