This website is run by Dasonele a.s. We want as many people as possible to be able to use it. For example, you should be able to:
- change colours, contrast levels and fonts using your browser or device settings
- zoom in up to 400% without the text spilling off the screen
- navigate the website using just a keyboard – the first Tab key press offers a link that skips to the content
Most of the website should also work with a screen reader, but we have not tested it with one yet.
How accessible this website is
We know some parts of this website are not fully accessible:
- the headings, lists and tables of the patient leaflets and SPCs are converted automatically from the documents of the MHRA and may not have the right structure for screen readers
- pictures in the leaflets and SPCs, such as instructions for use, have no text description
- some links in the lists of active substances and ATC groups are shown by colour only
- some links open a new tab without telling you in advance
Feedback and contact information
If you find something you cannot read or use, email us at info@patient-info.co.uk with the address of the page and what did not work. We will reply and try to fix the problem, or send you the content in another format.
Technical information about this website's accessibility
We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) version 2.2 at level AA. We are a private company and are not covered by the Public Sector Bodies (Websites and Mobile Applications) (No. 2) Accessibility Regulations 2018 – we publish this statement voluntarily.
Compliance status
This website is partially compliant with WCAG 2.2 AA, due to the non-compliances listed below.
Non-accessible content
Non-compliance with the accessibility guidelines
- Tables in the leaflets and SPCs do not mark their header cells, and a few converted texts skip heading levels or use bold text instead of a heading. This fails WCAG 2.2 success criterion 1.3.1 (info and relationships).
- Pictures in the leaflets and SPCs have no text alternative. This fails success criterion 1.1.1 (non-text content).
- On phones, wide tables in the leaflets scroll in a box that cannot be reached with the keyboard. This fails success criterion 2.1.1 (keyboard).
- In the A–Z list of active substances, the list of ATC groups and the source line of the home page, some links are told apart from the text only by their colour. This fails success criterion 1.4.1 (use of colour).
- The small "SPC" links next to the medicines on the pages of active substances and ATC groups are smaller than 24 × 24 pixels. This fails success criterion 2.5.8 (target size).
Content that is not within our control
- Advertisements provided by Google AdSense.
- The websites and documents we link to, for example those of the MHRA and the NHS.
Preparation of this accessibility statement
This statement was prepared on 17 October 2026. It was last reviewed on 17 October 2026.
This website was last tested on 17 October 2026 against the WCAG 2.2 AA standard. We tested 13 types of pages and 300 leaflet and SPC pages ourselves: with automated checks (axe-core) at phone and desktop widths, using only a keyboard, with the text enlarged to 200%, at a width of 320 pixels and with increased text spacing.
