How to use Syrup for Decongestion

Check that the carton seal is not broken before first use. Adults and Children over 12 years: Two 5ml spoonfuls four times a day. Do not give to children under 12 years.

WARNING: Do not exceed the stated dose

If you take too much, talk to a doctor straight away. If symptoms do not go away, talk to your pharmacist or doctor.

Do not take if you are allergic to any of the ingredients, have heart disease or diabetes, closed angle glaucoma, hyperthyroidism, prostatic enlargement or phaeochromocytoma (high blood pressure due to a tumour near the kidney).

Warning: This product contains 1.9 vol % of ethanol. Each dose of product contains up to 0.2g of ethanol. Harmful for those suffering from liver disease, alcoholism, epilepsy, brain injury or disease. May change or increase the effect of other medicines.

Do not take if you are taking monoamine oxidase inhibitors for depression or have taken them within the last 14 days.

Do not take if receiving heart drugs such as digitalis.

Do not take if you are pregnant.

Talk to your pharmacist or doctor before taking this medicine if you are taking any drugs which cause dry mouth such as tricyclic antidepressants.

This medicine may rarely cause nausea, vomiting, stomach upset and diarrhoea, headache, fast heart rate or rhythm changes, palpitations, high blood pressure, tremor, inability to sleep or restlessness and difficulty in passing urine. If concerned or anything else unusual happens, talk to your pharmacist or doctor.
