1. what zeel comp. n is and what it is used for

Zeel comp. N is a homeopathic medicinal product used within the homeopathic tradition for the symptomatic relief of rheumatic pain and joint stiffness.

• 2. Before you take Zeel comp. N

Do not take Zeel comp. N

if you are

• allergic (hypersensitive) to

• – any of the active substances or other ingredients of Zeel comp. N

• – Arnica or other plants from the Asteraceae/Com­positae family, such as daisies, marigolds and artichokes

• – plants of the cashew family, such as Rhus toxicodendron (poison ivy)

(See section 6 for list of ingredients).

Warning

You must consult a doctor if your joint pain is accompanied by swelling of the joint, redness or fever.

Taking other medicines

Zeel comp. N is not reported to affect any other medicines.

However, please tell your doctor or pharmacist before starting to take this product if you are using or have recently taken any other medicines, including medicines obtained without a prescription.

Pregnancy and breast-feeding

This product should not be used in pregnancy or breast feeding unless advised by your doctor.

Ask your doctor or pharmacist for advice before taking any medicine.

Driving and using machines

This product is not reported to affect driving or operating machines.

Important information about some of the ingredients of Zeel comp. N

This medicinal product contains lactose. If you have been told by your doctor that you have an intolerance to some sugars, contact your doctor or pharmacist before taking this medicinal product.

3. how to take zeel comp. n

Always use this product as this leaflet tells you. If you are unsure, ask your pharmacist or a qualified healthcare practitioner.

For oral use the usual dosage is:

Adults, elderly 1 tablet 3 times daily

and children If needed, 1 tablet can be taken every thirty minutes to every from 12 years hour, up to 12 times for the first 24 hours. Then continue with the standard dose.

Not recommended for use in children under 12 years.

Do not take more than the recommended dose.

Method of use

Dissolve the tablet in your mouth at least 30 minutes before meals.

Duration of use

If the condition worsens or if symptoms do not improve within 7 days, consult a doctor or qualified healthcare practitioner.

If you take more than the recommended dose and feel unwell, contact your doctor.

If you forget to take Zeel comp. N

Do not take a double dose to make up for a forgotten dose. Just take your next dose at the usual time.

4. possible side effects

Like all medicines, Zeel comp. N can cause side effects, although not everybody gets them.

There have been a small number of post marketing reports of

• allergic skin reactions, such as

• – itching

• – redness

• stomach pain

The frequency of these effects is not known.

5. how to store zeel comp. n

• Keep out of the reach and sight of children.
• Do not use if seal is broken.
• Do not store above 30 °C.
• Store tablets in the original package.
• Use within 1 year after first opening.
• Do not use Zeel comp. N after the expiry date which is stated on the carton after “EXP”. The expiry date refers to the last day of that month.
• Medicines should not be disposed of via wastewater or household waste. Ask your pharmacist how to dispose of medicines no longer required. These measures will help to protect the environment.

What Zeel comp. N looks like and contents of the pack

Zeel comp. N tablets are white to yellow white round, flat with bevelled edges.

The tablets are supplied in a polypropylene container in a cardboard box. Packs contain either 50 or 100 tablets.
