- Addison’s disease.
- Or your child is under 1 year old.

- Use with caution if you are elderly, as elderly people can react differently when taking the medicine.
- This medicine gives symptomatic relief from cystitis, it is not active against the bacteria which cause such infections. Your doctor may think it necessary to prescribe a suitable antibiotic to be taken together with this product.

- Nitrofurantoin or methenamine for a bladder infection.
- Digoxin or digitoxin for a heart condition.
- Aspirin or other salicylates.

Ask your doctor or pharmacist for advice before using this medicine if you are pregnant, might be pregnant or are breastfeeding. Potassium Citrate Mixture should not be used in pregnancy or breastfeeding unless the doctor has told you to do so.
Almportant ingredient information
- This product contains 1.1 g of sucrose per 5ml dose. To be taken into account in people with diabetes. If you have been told by your doctor that you have an intolerance to some sugars, contact your doctor before taking this medicine.
- This medicine contains less than 1mmol sodium(23mg) per 5ml dose, that is to say essentially "sodium-free.
- This medicine contains 2.5mg sodium benzoate per 5ml dose.
- This medicine contains 0.02mg ethanol in each 5ml dose, which is equivalent to 0.46 vol%. The amount in each 5ml dose of this medicine is equivalent to less than 0.46ml beer or 0.18ml wine. The small amount of alcohol in this medicine will not have any noticeable effects.
