  • 1. DETTOL LIQUID

Dettol Liquid is an effective concentrated antiseptic solution that kills bacteria and provides protection against germs which can cause infection and illness. It can be used for antiseptic cleansing of minor wounds caused by cuts, bites, grazes, insect stings and for personal hygiene.

Do not swallow.

Do not use on eczema or similar skin conditions.

Do not use if you are allergic to Chloroxylenol or any of the ingredients.

Do not use after the expiry date printed on the bottle.

Not recommended for use around cats.

This medicine contains a fragrance with trace amounts of benzyl alcohol and d-limonene. Benzyl alcohol may cause mild local irritation. Dettol Liquid contains fragrance with d-limonene and benzyl alcohol may cause allergic reactions.

Pregnancy & Breast feeding: This product can be used during pregnancy. Application of the product to the breast is not recommended during breast feeding.

Do not use undiluted.

FOR WOUND CLEANING:

Wash the affected area with one large spoonful (12.5ml) of Dettol Liquid diluted to a half pint (1/4 litre) of water.

Cover with a dry gauze or lint.

PERSONAL HYGIENE:

Douching (when medically advised): 2 teaspoonfuls in 2 pints of warm water.

Dandruff: 1 tablespoon to 1 pint of warm water. Pour over scalp, leave for 10mins before shampooing.

Spots and pimples: 1 tablespoonful in half pint of warm water. Bathe affected area daily.

Do not use around eyes, ear, nose or mouth. If swallowed, wash out mouth and drink plenty of water or milk. If contact is made with the eyes, nose or mouth, wash them thoroughly with cold water. In both cases, consult your doctor and take this bottle with you.
